Why did you want to join Lumera?

A former colleague recommended that I apply to Lumera. Lumera seemed like a forward-thinking company with a lot of drive.

What’s the best thing about working at Lumera?

I get to work closely with our customers and help them solve problems on many different levels. The challenge of managing the complexity of insurance means that I learn new things on a daily basis, which is very stimulating. It gives a great sense of satisfaction to be able to deliver a solution to an insurance administrator’s problems. In addition, fairly complicated cases often put my technical knowledge to the test. Though we are starting to become a rather large company with many employees, I feel that Lumera is nonetheless intimate and familial with all employees. The overall expertise of the company is significant.

What is your work day like at Lumera?

Every day is a completely unwritten page. Some days I can more or less deal with my tasks in peace and quiet, while others may require me to rapidly change my plans to help a customer with an urgent case. Some of my tasks can be resolved immediately, but there are also tasks that require a more in-depth analysis or a need to involve my employees.

How would you describe Lumera as a workplace in just a few words?

Very high employee competence levels. We deliver one of the leading insurance administration products on the market. It is very easy to be given and assume responsibility.
